How this is different to our normal service

With Felcorp's normal service, all our employees, office equipment, management team all belong to Felcorp. All our staff are trained and managed to Felcorp's internal policies.


With our corporate service, we essentially facilitate the set up and management of the offshore team. This means that any training, management, internal software systems, furniture, equipment and policies are completely up to you to determine and finance but for Felcorp management to uphold on your behalf.


This structure gives you the flexibility to tailor the team and systems to your needs while having the professional support of Felcorp to ensure that your offshore staff are hitting their KPIs and adhering to your corporate policies.

How it works

1. Creating an offshore staffing plan for you

To begin the process, we first must ascertain what the challenges you face and how offshore staffing can overcome that. From here we can understand what staff you need and determine the logistics of office space and time frames. We agree to the set up and begin to execute the plan.


2. Initiating a small scale trial

After the plan has been completed, we can complete a limited trial to test the feasibility and ensure that expectations and outcomes are adequately met. This stage ensures that you and Felcorp are mutually happy with the outcomes and can proceed to scale up the operation as part of the plan.



3. Setting up a budget and expense account

As part of the planning stage, we ask you to set up a budget and expense account to provide for office set up, furniture and staffing equipment costs. Felcorp will assist you in determining a budget.


4. Setting up the office:

In accordance with your staffing plan, we will source and if necessary refurbish the office space to your requirements, corporate colours and logos.


5. Finding your staff:

Once the office has been set up, we can proceed to search and vet candidates for employment. We will work with you to develop a HR hiring strategy. Once the staff have been recruited and have started we can proceed to purchase computer equipment and set up email and any software subscriptions.


6. Day to day management

For the day-to-day management, Felcorp will put in place a combination of our own managers and hire office and team managers directly for you. Felcorp will facilitate the communication, training and support procedures to ensure a smooth operation. This combination of management personnel will be determined as part of your initial plan.


7. HR, legal and payroll compliance:

We can assist in setting up a formal HR management system that can track and approve leave entitlements, corporate and employment policies. We can also assist in providing legal support for developing employment contracts. For payroll compliance, we can also set up a formal accounting and payroll system on your behalf.


8. Payment to Felcorp

We operate on a tiered monthly management fee that is determined by staffing numbers, level of support by Felcorp management and any initial set up costs that we incur. Our fees will be disclosed in the initial planning stage.


9. Option to self-manage after 36 months

After 36 months you have the option to completely self-manage the office without any payment to or oversight by Felcorp.

Questions about staffing

What type of staffing can I have?

We can source any type of staff that you want, however we specialise in professional services staffing and therefore we can impart our knowledge and expertise in this area to find suitable candidates for financial planning, superannuation, insurance, accounting and SMSF industries.


Are the staff trained?

This depends on your specific industry and the tasks that the staff are expected to do. For example, in financial planning and accounting, we can very easily source experienced candidates with 5-10+ years experience in Australian financial planning and accounting principles, software and legislative requirements. We suggest employing a strategy of experienced and junior staff.


Can I get staff office operations for 24/7 or on specific Australian business hours?

Yes we can assist you in finding staff for those working hours. However, please note that midnight, weekend and early morning shifts command higher salaries.


What if the staff aren't performing as expected?

It is very important in the initial stages that we incorporate some form of staffing trial on a small scale when starting the arrangement. We must look at the viability and scalability of the operations. Once we are satisfied with this outcome, we can proceed to scale up as agreed. This step will likely prevent poor performance as you will have witnessed staff outcomes during the trial and can make your decision after the trial period.


Can I scale up staff quickly?

Yes we can assist you to scale up staff quickly. For highly specialised and niche operations, it may take slightly more time to find the perfect candidate.


Can I scale down staff when we need to?

Yes, of course you can do this however it is has it risks. If you are regularly scaling up then scaling down throughout the year, there is an increased risk of staff turnover and consequent difficulty in recruiting additional staff.


Confidence by your staff is key to long term stability and success of the outsourcing operation. We will work closely with you to develop confidence-building strategies that can motivate and duly increase efficiency of the office so your outcomes are achieved.
